Anaplan is looking for a GTM Strategy & Planning Senior Manager / Manager to join our GTM Strategy & Planning function. This high-impact role is critical to the success of our GTM organization, driving operational excellence and execution in support of Anaplan’s ambitious growth objectives.

You will join a team of individuals who embrace and respect diverse perspectives, aren’t afraid to push boundaries and try new insights, and are passionate about helping our customers and each other succeed.

In this highly visible role, you will own end-to-end execution of core GTM planning processes, working cross-functionally with GTM / Sales, Operations, Compensation, Finance, and HR. Reporting to the Senior Director, GTM Strategy, Planning & Competitive Intelligence, you will lead seamless execution of planning cycles, policy governance, and operational efficiency, while collaborating on broader GTM strategy initiatives and gaining exposure to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and execute GTM Planning processes including:

  • Target Setting & Capacity Planning
  • Account Segmentation & Scoring
  • Territory & Quota Planning
  • GTM Policy & Collaboration Guidelines
  • Analysis & Actionable Insights (aligned to above & beyond)


Your Impact:

  • Own and lead execution of GTM planning processes ensuring alignment with growth objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Manage project execution and coordination of efficient processes across planning cycles, partnering with GTM, Operations, Compensation, Finance and HR.
  • Shape and refine GTM planning models (e.g., segmentation, scoring, capacity, pipeline, target setting) to support data driven decision making.
  • Evaluate GTM coverage and build recommendations for investment and transformation programs.
  • Establish and govern GTM policy and rules of engagement that optimize GTM strategy and execution.
  • Design and scale GTM Planning systems, data, processes and reporting infrastructure.
  • Conduct analyses and provide insights to fuel GTM strategy, planning as well as operational improvements.
  • Serve as an Anaplan super user and as the liaison between business users and developers.
  • Lead documentation, training, and communication of planning processes/playbooks to GTM leaders and stakeholders.


Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management or related discipline. Master’s degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in GTM Strategy & Operations within SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • Strong project management and execution skills with a track record of delivering structured planning processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and mindset with experience in GTM model development and insights-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with competing priorities.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience using Anaplan or similar tools for GTM / Territory & Quota planning, and reporting.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations and execution.
  • Ability to develop clear, compelling presentations in PowerPoint, backed by robust analytical insights.
  • Experience leading planning cycles, process execution, and policy governance.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Consultative and growth mindset—always thinking ahead and advising on future opportunities.

Base Salary Range:

$154,000$209,000 USD
