Description

This role is designed for a driven, data-focused, and relentless problem solver to build and scale our outbound strategy, unlocking new opportunities in mid-market and enterprise segments. As a self-starter, you will play a critical role in transforming our lead generation process from a predominantly inbound-focused approach into a proactive, data-driven outbound engine. By becoming a Terminal49 subject matter expert, you will create a scalable system for identifying and engaging target accounts, you’ll ensure a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads. This is your chance to take ownership of top-of-funnel strategy, experiment boldly, and drive measurable impact—fueling the growth of our business and redefining how we reach our ideal customers. We are not looking for the playbook - we are looking for someone to rewrite the path using creative problem solving.

Requirements
What you will do
  • Creative Problem Solving: Develop innovative and unconventional methods to source and attract new users and expand market reach. There isn’t a predefined playbook for this role. While we have a great team and valuable learnings, the challenge is scaling what has worked on a 1:1 basis to a 1:many approach.
  • Experimentation & Optimization: Crowdsource ideas, identify new channels and programs, and design experiments to rapidly test effective ways to engage with our ideal buyers. This process begins with a clear Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), segmentation, and list building, but extends into tool implementation and messaging strategies.
  • Own the Lead Generation Process Endto End: Take full ownership of the lead generation lifecycle. Be technical enough to implement new tools, build customizations within platforms like HubSpot, and run data analysis. Additionally, bring strong commercial capabilities to craft compelling copy when necessary.
  • Deliver Results: Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams, while ultimately owning your pipeline KPI. This is a revenue-driving role designed to fuel the sales team’s efforts.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data to identify growth opportunities, set priorities, and guide strategic initiatives. Build and maintain dashboards and analytics pipelines to track and measure performance.

Who you are

  • 4+ Years of Experience: Demonstrated success in growth marketing, BDR/SDR, or demand-generation roles with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline targets.
  • Tech-Savvy Expertise: Proficient in tools like HubSpot, outreach/automation platforms (e.g., Outreach.io, SalesLoft), and data enrichment tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Clearbit). Comfortable navigating and leveraging technology to optimize processes.
  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled at building reports, analyzing funnel data, and leveraging insights to iterate and improve strategies quickly. Data informs every decision.
  • Collaborative Cross-Functional Partner: Work will both Sales + Marketing teams to build campaigns, run A/B testing, and adjust approach often
  • Ownership Mentality: A self-starter who takes initiative and drives projects to completion. Operates with accountability and a focus on delivering results
  • Creative & Resourceful: Thrives in fast-paced environments without rigid playbooks. Adept at proposing, testing, and scaling new ideas to drive growth
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to craft compelling outbound messaging and collaborate effectively across sales and marketing teams to align on goals

Essential Mindset & Collaboration

  • Alignment with our core values:
  • Desire to learn the ins and outs of global container logistics

  • You have a “can do” attitude and are comfortable making decisions to unblock yourself or others
  • Strong written and verbal English skills to communicate with our international team

Bonus Attributes

  • Experience in a distributed, remote team environment
  • Proficiency in Hubspot CRM
  • Previous experience in supply chain, trade, logistics, trucking, and/or transportation
  • BA / BS in supply chain, business administration, marketing, or other relevant programs strongly preferred
