About You
The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and exceptional office lobby experience for employees, guests, candidates, and vendors alike. Additionally, the Front Desk Coordinator will support the Workplace Operations and Real Estate team with programs & amenities management, as well as daily operational activities. This role needs an individual who thrives in a fast paced, ever evolving environment, who possesses strong communication skills and the ability to successfully prioritize and execute tasks in alignment with the overall goals set forth by management. The Front Desk Coordinator needs to have a growth and development mindset. This is a contract-based role with room to grow!
Responsibilities
- Serves as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, candidates, and vendors entering Verkada Headquarters.
- Assists in maintaining and further enhancing current Workplace programs such as the lobby, barber shop, mailroom coverage, and real estate apartment bookings.
- Inventory and procurement of office supplies.
- Management of barber schedules
- Management of apartment bookings calendar
Experience and Skills
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service through human connection and and ongoing operations support
- 1+ years of receptionist experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments, work collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and ever-changing priorities.
Pay Disclosure
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting base pay may be above or below this range. Base pay is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
