Who Are You?

You are a creative, enthusiastic self-starter who can deliver exceptional design work on a freelance basis. You understand how to work remotely with a small and fast-paced team of smart and savvy marketers.

Your designs are visually compelling and designed for conversion optimization. Responsive website design, landing pages, ebooks, infographics, social banners, you name it, you can do it. You care as much about the results of a project, as well as staying on track and delivering on time, as much as you do the creation of it.

You thrive on collaborative efforts and can engage effectively in virtual whiteboard sessions with the team, and can also work independently to make some magic happen. You don't need step-by-step directions to complete a task, but instead, formulate creative solutions to bring a project to life.

Contract Overview:

Working with the VP of Marketing and collaborating remotely with marketing, sales, partnerships, product management, and customer success teams, you will support a wide range of activities across the marketing funnel, focusing on brand marketing. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing startup while maintaining your freelance flexibility.

As a Freelance Designer, you will be critical to the success of the Thanx marketing team. You'll bring our website, content, integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and events to life through visual design, imagery, and an excellent user experience that engages our prospects and drives MQLs and pipeline.

What you’ll do:

  • Create compelling designs, prototype highly polished interactions, and elevate the look and feel of the brand
  • Collaborate and generate ideas to bring content, campaigns, paid advertising, product releases, and other marketing tactics to life and drive measurable KPI results
  • Work with developers to launch projects as needed
  • Adhere to project timelines and communicate proactively about progress
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

This contract may be a good fit if you have:

  • Availability for 20 hours per week (with the option to flex of between 15 and 30 hours per week)
  • A minimum of 4+ years of work experience as a designer for B2B software (SaaS)
  • Experience with website usability and web design, landing page design, email design best practices, trade show assets, sales collateral, and CMS experience
  • Experience creating production-ready print work such as sales sheets, publications, trade show graphics, or equivalent
  • Strong aesthetic skills and attention to detail
  • History of meeting tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities, and demonstrating exceptional organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
  • A strong sense of ownership and pride in your work
  • Ability to self-manage and direct without requiring constant oversight
  • Experience working remotely with teams and delivering high-quality work independently
  • A professional home office setup with a reliable internet connection
  • Availability for virtual meetings during standard business hours
