About the risk team

Robust credit, fraud risk & data science capabilities would sit at the heart of this trading platform and enable delivery of credit losses in line with our risk appetite while providing outstanding experience to businesses on our platform. These risk capabilities would evolve to have industry leading discrimination and become a sustained source of competitive advantage for Pipe & value addition to our merchant partners. Risk scorecards and credit strategy logic would be housed within a nimble and  modern infrastructure to enable decisioning of millions of customers and transactions with a very high degree of precision & accuracy. 

Fraud operations analyst would be a key member of the risk team with responsibility to execute fraud processes & reviews to ensure delivery on fraud loss target while managing customer experience and channel partner optics. This role would report directly to the Fraud Operations Manager. 

As a member of the fraud operations team you will have the opportunity to assist in improving our processes and contribute to the organization's value proposition within a rapidly growing financial technology start-up environment.

About the role

This is a full-time, fully remote position. In this role, you will:

  • Action daily applications pended into the fraud queue. Review the information elements on these cases thoroughly and decision them as per procedures.
  • Drive improved performance on established Fraud KPI’s achieving desired function objectives to drive reduction in fraud loss while reducing disruption/ improving experience for genuine applicants. 
  • Provide feedback regarding active trends and observations from reviewed cases which creates a strong feedback loop into fraud strategy that helps to enhance fraud defenses and pickup emerging fraud threats. 
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively by balancing high productivity, sense of urgency and delivering quality decisions on cases reviewed. 

Experience

  • 3-7 years’ experience in fraud operations especially with decisioning of new credit product applications and/or card transaction fraud management.
  • Deep knowledge of fraud management principles and fraud operations.
  • Strong knowledge of industry leading fraud solutions from 3rd parties.
  • Experience in managing fraud operations within a mobile environment based new application decisioning is highly desired. 
  • Experience with KYC & KYB onboarding processes is desired.

This is a US based role.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Pipe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
