About the role

Radar is looking for a Fraud and Risk Lead, Gaming to analyze, monitor and alert customers to fraudulent or suspicious activity in iGaming customers’ geolocation data. You’ll partner closely with our Vice President of Gaming Operations, CEO, and Senior Director of Compliance to navigate Radar’s back office, synthesize geolocation data, and proactively identify potential anomalies and fraudulent behavior. 

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we provide best-in-class fraud support to customers. You will report to our Vice President of Gaming Operations.

We’re open to remote or local candidates for the position. If local, this would be an in-office opportunity based out of our headquarters in New York City. You'd be working from our Union Square office Monday-Thursday with the opportunity to WFH on Fridays.

For candidates based in the United States, the base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 - $180,000/year with the opportunity for performance bonuses and incentives.

In addition to cash compensation, Radar offers full-time employees stock option grants under its equity plan. This is a meaningful ownership stake in the company we provide to our employees as we build a category-defining company.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Your exact offer may vary based on market location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
What you’ll do:

  • Establish an in-depth understanding of iGaming customers’ fraud and risk priorities, and build rapport with those customers’ teams

  • Navigate the Radar back office to help interpret and synthesize geolocation data for iGaming customers, and identify activities and behaviors that warrant automated fraud alerts

  • Daily review of fraud and risk reporting to identify, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent and suspicious geolocation activity 

  • Help create, monitor, and potentially action off automated fraud alerts both internally at Radar and with customers

You should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with a regulated geolocation providers’ back office as part of a fraud/risk team of a major regulated gaming company

  • Track record of analyzing gaming geolocation data to identify potential fraudulent activity 

  • In-depth understanding of the regulated U.S. gaming industry, the most prevalent types of fraud, and fraud-related compliance requirements for North American gaming operators

  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting
