About Coperniq:
Coperniq is building the future of clean energy. We're transforming solar and energy contractors into tomorrow’s utility companies. Instead of cobbling together fragmented tools and workflows, we give them a unified platform that radically improves their operations and customer experience.

We’re backed by Y Combinator and Initialized Capital (including Garry Tan). This is your chance to help shape a seed-stage company with a clear mission and strong early traction.

What You'll Do

  • Be the technical partner for customers, guiding them on how to best use Coperniq and integrate it into their workflows.

  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and engineering to design and deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.

  • Troubleshoot technical challenges, especially around integrations and configurations.

  • Ensure customer feedback flows seamlessly into product improvements.

  • Write clear, useful technical documentation (e.g., integration guides, API specs).

Who You Are

  1. You’re comfortable switching between big-picture thinking and getting into the weeds to solve tough problems.

  2. You have 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, software engineering, or a similar role in B2B SaaS.

  3. You know APIs and integrations like the back of your hand and have experience with modern tools and cloud services.

  4. You’re an excellent communicator—technical enough to dig into code but able to explain it to non-technical users.

  5. Bonus: You know the solar or blue-collar industries and have ideas about how to improve them.

About Our Team

  • CS team: 1 Founder, 1 CSM, 1 Head of Implementation, (you'll be the first dedicated Solutions Engineer)

  • 17 people total (mostly engineering)

  • Located in San Francisco with a flexible hybrid work model (3 days a week)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $190,000

  • Stock Options: 0.1% - 0.3%

  • Comprehensive Health Benefits: 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance; 50% coverage for dependents.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 3 weeks per year

Why Join Coperniq?

This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to redefine how clean energy contractors work and scale. As an early team member, you’ll have a front-row seat to building a company and a real say in how we do it.

If this sounds like you, let’s talk.
