As a Financial Manager in Topline team, you will report to the Head of Finance Corp Revenue and Projects, and primarily work on projects of Finance Revenue team, especially in Enterprise and High Touch sales. In this role, your primary focus will be on driving the transformation projects in Topline team to empower our Finance and business stakeholders to improve and scale our Enterprise analysis and forecasts. You will play a crucial role in strategic planning, becoming a valued financial partner to Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, and supporting the Atlassian business with financial models and metrics expertise. You appreciate the mantra "work smarter, not harder" and will champion improvements to growth and operations for the Cloud business. You will also work closely with the broader finance, Go-to-Market, strategy operations, analytics and data infrastructure teams.
This is a highly visible role in the organization with close partnership with senior business leaders across the company, ideally suited if you are passionate about developing an intimate understanding of our business, have a strong financial and analytical background, and are keen to drive growth and operational improvements as a strategic finance partner.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Play a key role in optimizing the infrastructure of financial planning by building and operationalizing a world-class financial analysis and forecasting framework in Enterprise business.
  • Drive process improvement of financial planning to optimize effectiveness of collaboration and communication between Finance and Sales teams.
  • Streamline financial models and metrics, develop clarification of ownership on business growth, and support company goal setting & tracking practices in Enterprise business.
  • Get exposure to broad revenue-related projects in the Finance team.


On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a financial role in tech, consulting, or investment banking
  • Solid experience with bookings/revenue forecasting, reporting and analysing
  • Strong data analytics skills in Excel and a deep understanding of Cloud metrics
  • Solid experience in process improvements of financial planning and analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex financial information to leaders
  • Are a strategic problem solver, especially when navigating ambiguity, hands-on and resourceful


It's great, but not required of you have:

  • Experience with Enterprise revenue and high touch sales planning process is a big plus
  • SQL skills and understanding of database / data warehousing concepts
  • Exposure to working with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) and finance systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)
  • Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau)
  • Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience
  • Hold a degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Finance


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $135,300 - $180,400
Zone B: $121,700 - $162,300
Zone C: $112,300 - $149,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
