Job Duties and Responsibilities
This Financial Analyst I position within the DISH Finance organization supports the operations of the In-Home Services (IHS) department. IHS is the field service and support division of DISH TV which provides installation, upgrade and repair services through its network of highly skilled technicians. The IHS Finance team is looking for a financial analyst with strong analytical and financial modeling skills and an ability to establish productive working relationships with non-finance personnel in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the monthly financial review of business performance including data compilation, operational metrics analysis, financial variance analysis, and report publication
  • Build and maintain financial models for reporting on financial performance including key operational performance metrics and business drivers
  • Evaluate profitability of business opportunities and provide recommendations including sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Identify reporting and process improvement opportunities and implement solutions
  • Provide financial business decision support and ad-hoc analysis on process improvement initiatives, new business operations and cost-savings opportunities


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 0-2 years of experience in FP&A, finance or accounting, including month-end financial reporting, variance analysis and budgeting


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Excel and presentation skills, preferably with a working knowledge of Google Workspace applications
  • Experience with OneStream or similar FP&A reporting tools is a plus but not required
  • Ability to analyze and understand financial information with an operational perspective
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with a need to achieve
  • High level energy and intelligence necessary to thrive in a Fortune 500 company
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to prepare financial presentations and effectively present information in meetings

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $54,650.00/Year - $78,100.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
