About the Role: 

We are looking for a Finance Operations Associate, Procure to Pay (P2P) to join our team. You will support finance and accounting by ensuring operational tasks are completed accurately and timely. This person will work to build and improve processes around P2P and other accounting key functions. 

This role is hybrid in our San Francisco office 2-3 days per week. The current expectation is in-office Wednesdays and Thursdays. 

Here are a few of the things you will do:

  • Oversee our Procure to Pay software (PayEm), policies, and processes, ensuring that they are effectively managed and optimized to meet the company's needs
  • Manage the company's global P2P process by managing PO requests, purchasing cards, vendor onboarding, contract management and reporting
  • Partner with Finance on Budget Analysis and Coding
  • Work to streamline processes and implement best practices that support our financial operations
  • Resolve issues and escalations identified by the team or our business partners
  • Assist with the administration of other finance/accounting software tools

Here is what is needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in a finance, operations, or accounting role
  • Experience with accounting systems (we use NetSuite and PayEm)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects with minimal supervision
