Responsibilities

1. Overhead Spend Management

  • Develop and monitor the overhead budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
  • Provide variance analysis and financial reporting on overhead costs, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Work with department heads to align spending with business priori􀆟es.

2. Headcount & Workforce Planning

  • Oversee headcount planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with budgeted costs.
  • Partner with HR and finance to analyze workforce costs and optimize staffing levels.
  • Provide financial insights into hiring, promotions, and workforce restructuring decisions.
  • Track and report on salary trends, benefits costs, and overall personnel expenses.

3. IT Project Financial Oversight

  • Track and manage the financial performance of IT projects, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Partner with IT leadership to evaluate project ROI, cost-benefit analysis, and funding requirements.
  • Develop financial models for major IT initiatives, including capital expenditures and operational costs.
  • Monitor vendor contracts and technology investments, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

4. Financial Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Implement standardized reporting for overhead expenses, headcount costs, and IT project financials.
  • Automate reporting and forecasting to improve decision-making efficiency.
  • Develop policies and guidelines to ensure spending transparency and accountability.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements in expense management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accoun􀆟ng, Finance, Business, or related field, CPA preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial planning, cost management, or FP&A.
  • Strong background in budge􀆟ng, forecas􀆟ng, and cost control.
  • Experience with headcount planning and workforce analy􀆟cs.
  • Knowledge of IT financial management, including CAPEX/OPEX and project tracking.
  • Advanced Power BI and financial modeling skills.
  • Data Science interest
  • Strong analy􀆟cal mindset with excellent problem-solving and communica􀆟on skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in corporate finance within IT-heavy or cost-sensi􀆟ve industries.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and financial repor􀆟ng tools.
  • Understanding of technology investment strategies and project accoun􀆟ng.
