About Monte Carlo

As businesses increasingly rely on data to power digital products and drive better decision-making, it’s mission-critical that this data is accurate and reliable. Monte Carlo, the data reliability company, is the creator of the industry's first end-to-end Data Observability platform. Named an Inc. Best Workplace for 2024, a DBTA Readers Choice for Best Data Observability Solution for 2024, a G2 Best Product for 2023, and the "New Relic for data" by Forbes, we've raised $236M from Accel, ICONIQ Growth, GGV Capital, Redpoint Ventures, IVP, and Salesforce Ventures. Monte Carlo works with data-driven companies like Fox, Pepsico, Amazon, American Airlines, and other leading enterprises to help them achieve trust in data.

About the role:

We are looking for a proactive and data-driven Field Marketing Operations Manager to drive operational efficiency and enhance the effectiveness of our event marketing and revenue teams. In this role, you will sit between field marketing, marketing operations, demand generation, sales, and customer success to bridge a cohesive gap between offline events, executing the tracking of their success in CRM, and supporting account teams with pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up. You will be pivotal in analyzing key business metrics, designing scalable workflows, and implementing tools to optimize productivity and growth. Overall, you will be the key owner for ensuring seamless processes that align with our strategic goals.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate processes/systems updates in a clear and comprehensive way.

  • Partner with MarketingOps and RevenueOps teams to streamline all Field Marketing operations and optimize the tech stack.

  • Help build and ensure compliance with all standards, templates, and processes established by Marketing Operations, including lead routing workflows and segmentation.

  • Develop and maintain event target lists for both field events and major trade shows using both internal and external data.

  • Manage and implement tools in the event tech stack, such as registration and check-in software, project management systems, and segmentation tools.

  • Master the lead and customer lifecycle of our core Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and how these influence our technical workflows.

  • Work with Sales Development to help forecast and manage event MQL volume, capacity and enablement on event outreach.

  • Manage lead scoring and coordinate the handoff to sales development and account executives on a per-event basis.

  • Track and attribute event-influenced opportunities.

  • Manage our on-site meeting setting process for each event, ensuring attribution from meeting outreach through meeting held, handoff to sales, and technical workflows, including helping onsite at major trade shows to assist with meeting check-in, tracking, and handoff.

  • Act as the primary contact for analytics and reporting within the field and event marketing organization.

  • Assist in event projects as needed, including traveling to and managing onsite operations during heavy event schedules.

We’re excited about you because you have:

  • 3-6 years of experience in Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, campaign operations, or a similar role.

  • Fundamental understanding of CRM, martech, and event tech stack tools, including proficiency with HubSpot, Salesforce, Splash, Outreach, and project management systems.

  • Proven track record of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize ruthlessly, and enjoy autonomy.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support onsite event execution and for team/company offsites.
