American farmers have made tremendous technology advancements through hardware improvements and investments in precision agriculture. However, when it comes to the back-office, most farms are decades behind, relying on spreadsheets, filing cabinets, and decades-old on-prem software to recruit, manage, and pay their workforce. Seso is addressing this problem by modernizing the back-office for the farm.

Our mission is to build the premier platform for agribusiness to hire and manage their workforce and improve the lives of agricultural workers. We are addressing American farmers’ biggest pain point - access to qualified labor - through a software-enabled labor solution that automates the H-2A visa. Our  comprehensive HR platform streamlines and automates the hiring process for farms and  seamlessly integrates their efforts across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and insurance while providing workers access to financial services for the first time.

Seso has raised over $60M from Tier I investors including Index, Founders Fund, and Mary Meeker at Bond, and has been recognized with awards including Forbes Rising Stars and Andreessen Horowitz's American Dynamism 50.

As our dedicated Field Marketing Manager, you will lead Seso’s field marketing program, overseeing the vision, strategy, and execution of event-related initiatives. This strategic role is essential to enabling Sales and Marketing teams to operate with greater efficiency, impact, and scale, while driving measurable pipeline growth and brand amplification through events. Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing and collaborating closely with Sales and Customer Success teams, this position is remote but requires travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:

Event Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to define event objectives, target audiences, and key messaging
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive annual field marketing calendar, balancing hosted, sponsored, and attended events
  • Research and recommend high-value event opportunities aligned with Seso’s target personas and industries
  • Create innovative strategies to elevate Seso’s brand presence, including booth design, activations, ancillary events, and giveaways

Event Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics for trade shows, conferences, hosted events, and webinars, attending key events in person when needed
  • Coordinate onsite staffing, booth setup, A/V requirements, collateral production, swag distribution, and lead capture strategies
  • Liaise with vendors, venues, and partners to ensure flawless event execution
  • Maintain a professional and impactful presence for Seso at all events, ensuring delivery of core messaging

Lead Generation & Pipeline Impact

  • Collaborate with Sales to drive pre- and post-event outreach campaigns, maximizing attendance and follow-up effectiveness
  • Track event ROI through metrics such as leads generated, opportunities influenced, and closed-won revenue
  • Execute account-based marketing initiatives for key sales accounts, including personalized activities like lunch-and-learns, roundtables, sports outings, sales dinners, happy hours, and excursions to drive conversions

Customer Advisory Board (CAB)

  • Identify and recruit influential customers to act as advocates and strategic partners for Seso
  • Design a quarterly engagement program with virtual feedback events
  • Plan and execute an annual, premium in-person summit for executive members to discuss industry challenges and provide feedback on Seso’s roadmap
