The Field Guide will boost SRAM retail sales through product education and community events, building relationships with retailers and enhancing brand presence.
Overview
Increase SRAM retail sales through product education, brand promotion and community events in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Execute Retail activations around new product introductions and inline product ranges to support Aftermarket and OE SRAM Sales
- Establish and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with key retailers, SRAM OE and AM customer's sales reps to grow sustainable SRAM sales and build community
- Educate key retailers, Distributor and OEM Reps on SRAM and associated brand products
- Visit and maintain relationships with targeted Retailers (30 to 50) in your region
- Provide test, seeding products to customers for shop / customer rides
- Support brand and retail messaging via in shop branding
- Perform live and recorded webinars
- Focuses on how to promote SRAM, engage with communities and ultimately increase SRAM Sales
Qualifications
- Degree in business, marketing or sales or equivalent experience
- 3 years professional experience within the outdoor and/or bicycle industry, with a focus on retail marketing/sales or similar
- Extensive knowledge of SRAM products and its competitors
- Great at interacting with people and being able to easily build trust as the foundation to sustaining relationships
- Genuine interest and curiosity about customers' business needs and creative thinking about how we can support them
- Proficient communication skills - written, oral and live in front of an audience and a camera
- Experience with key digital marketing channels, including but not limited to Social Media and E-mail Marketing
- Proficient MS Office knowledge, knowledge in video editing is a plus
- Can build his/her own bikes: Road and MTB
- German native speaker, and very good level of English required
- Must reside within territory
- Ability to travel up to 60-70% of the time, mostly within territory
- Flexible travel and work weekends at times to support customer needs
- Solution-driven, organized and ability to follow clear tasks and objectives to reach organizational targets
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand for long periods of time as needed
- Ability to ride different types of bikes well: MTB, Road, Gravel
