Work Arrangement
This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

The Executive Talent Acquisition Sourcer plays a critical role in identifying, attracting, and engaging high caliber executive level talent for our organization. This individual will be part of the global Executive Talent Acquisition team to build talent pipelines, research potential candidates, and create sourcing strategies that align with GM's leadership hiring objectives.
In this role you will have the opportunity to be creative and use your judgment to drive GM forward through impactful executive hires. We are seeking data savvy, executive talent sourcing specialists to help the company develop talent pipelines build talent maps and keep abreast of talent trends in the market. If you love executive recruitment, proactive candidate pool development, using data to influence decisions, and leveraging your creativity to find the best of the best leadership talent, then this role is for you!
As an Executive Recruitment Sourcer, you will be tasked with setting strategy to identify professionals with critical executive skills, specialized one-of-a-kind niche leadership abilities, and find robust diverse talent. This role requires a hands-on player who will use sound project management skills to complete tasks and assess progress to goal as one of the primary sourcing points of contact to the Executive Talent Acquisition team and selected leaders.
Responsibilities

  • Sourcing Strategy Development. Collaborate with executive recruiters and hiring managers to understand specific role requirements and business needs.


  • Use data insight to create executive sourcing strategies for niche skills, diversity, and critical leadership abilities, collaborating with the entire Executive Talent Acquisition team and corresponding executive hiring managers.


  • Candidate Research and mapping. Conduct market research and talent mapping to create targeted talent research lists, building and maintaining a database of potential executive candidates for future opportunities.


  • Engage with executive level candidates to understand interest, assess their qualifications, and build strong relationships for future opportunities.


  • Partner with and actively build collaborative relationships with executive recruiters, TA leaders, HR partners, and sourcing teammates.


  • Reporting on metrics of executive sourcing activities for the assigned skillset area, including KPIs and ROI analysis throughout the search.


  • Influence and educate the business leaders and HR leaders through data, acting as Executive Talent Acquisition's trusted coach and guide.


  • Ensure a focus on diversity and inclusion by actively sourcing candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, industries, and geographies.


  • Promote company's commitment to diversity by leveraging networks and strategies to attract diverse executive talent.


  • Actively research and build diverse and qualified pipelines to fill openings and proactively map the executive leadership market on the required functions and roles.


  • Create outstanding experiences for candidates and internal partners by personalizing interactions and maintaining integrity and timely responses.


  • Stay informed about industry trends, talent movements, and competitive landscape to anticipate talent needs.


Additional Description
Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of executive sourcing experience preferably developed in relevant consulting firms.


  • Sound knowledge of executive level roles and responsibilities across different functions, for example C Suite, VP, Director.


  • Experience with relevant sourcing tools and related TA platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Insights, Beamery, Seekout, HireRight, and Glassdoor).


  • Expertise in finding executive candidates with no digital presence, digging deep into conferences, published work, boards, networks, and alternative sourcing methods.


  • Expertise in leveraging raw data and build data stories that influence through data visualization and narrative story telling.


  • Experience using a CRM such as Greenhouse or Workday.


  • Ability to establish strong relationships quickly and build networks to accomplish goals.


  • Project management proficiencies, including time management, delegation, and progress reports.


  • High attention to detail and sense of urgency.


  • Understanding of applicable employment law as required.


  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple searches simultaneously.


  • Undergraduate degree or 10 years of equivalent relevant experience.

Compensation

  • The expected base compensation for this role is $127,900 - $200,100 USD Annually.
  • Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
