This is a remote position. To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in San Francisco where we have our Content Studio. This position reports to the Senior Director, Creative Studio and Operations.

Your future team
Atlassian is seeking a dynamic Executive Producer to lead our Content Studio, guiding the creation of high-impact content that enhances our brand and engages our audience. As an Executive Producer, Content Studio you will drive and deliver impactful film-focused work that supports Atlassian's global marketing and business goals for Content Studio.
The Executive Producer will oversee the entire content production process for the Content Studio, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand messaging. This role requires a craft-focused leader with deep expertise in video production, a hybrid set of skills (produce, edit, shoot, etc) exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for storytelling.
This is a role for someone who is driven to create and manage best-in-class production work and processes that enable our Content Studio to thrive. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with Creative, Marketing and PMM teams, production partners and creative agencies is a must as is a great knowledge base and passion for content creation itself. This person must be creative, amiable, adaptive, quick on their feet, solutions-driven and organized to ensure high quality work is delivered on time in a fast-paced environment. Industry expertise at a recognized creative agency and/or client-side experience is a must.
What you'll do

  • You are a strong, independent thinker, leader and decision maker with a proven track record of delivering work on time and within budget.
  • You have deep film production experience, including but not limited to creating high impact, quick turn product-focused content across owned and paid channels .
  • You have deep experience managing live action shoots, line producing and bringing a creative ambition to life across multiple channels and categories (Social, Brand, Performance Marketing, etc) in a fast paced studio environment.
  • You are an expert at building rapport and consensus amongst a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • You have extensive experience working with Product Marketing and internal Brand and Creative teams in a B2B environment.
  • You are quick on your feet and able to explain complex issues, risks and alternative solutions clearly and effectively.
  • You have superior estimating, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating and project management skills.
  • You are an expert negotiator with production costs and you know what can be done, and done well, for 20k to 2M.
  • You have proven experience and success with live action shoots, photography shoots, digital projects, activations, events, talent and contract negotiation and licensing.
  • You are adept with project planning (goals, budget, schedule, and scope).
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, global environment with a great deal of autonomy.
  • You are comfortable sorting through ambiguity and strive to provide clarity for the teams you work with.
  • You are an energetic and creative problem solver.
  • You have expertise working on large initiatives across timezones.
  • You have extensive experience with project managing internal projects as well as managing external agencies and production vendors
  • You have a deep love of storytelling that pushes creative boundaries.


Your background

  • 10+ years of creative production and film experience on an internal creative team inside a Creative Agency and/or internal Brand Marketing team. Bonus points if within a B2B tech environment.
  • Well adept at line producing, editing and shooting video content.
  • Demonstrated taste and craft across production work that is proven in portfolio work.
  • Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of how to achieve objectives while meeting an expected brand standard, a high bar for aesthetic quality within set budgets and schedules.
  • Experience directly managing work across local and remote design, production and product marketing teams.
  • Strong relationships with external production partners locally and globally.
  • Proven track record of managing several successful content projects simultaneously and leading creative and production teams.
  • Excellent negotiation skills (especially contract and budget negotiations) with clients, peers and partners.
  • Superior leadership and communication skills.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
  • Experience and affinity for Atlassian products and brand.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $168,100 - $224,100
Zone B: $151,300 - $201,700
Zone C: $139,500 - $186,000
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
