Important details: 

  • Your internship will begin June 2nd, 2025, and run until August 8th, 2025. 

  • The first week of your internship will be held in-person at our Headquarters in Austin, TX 

  • Travel and lodging will be provided 

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. No Visa sponsor available. 

About your internship: 

The role of the Enterprise Systems Intern involves the opportunity to work closely with our enterprise systems team, gaining valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This intern will have the chance to learn about various financial systems, service management, and essential business tools utilized across the company. They will assist in the administration and enhancement of these systems, contributing to the optimization of our business processes. The ideal candidate should possess a strong ability to self-teach, rapidly acquire new technologies, and troubleshoot effectively in complex and ambiguous scenarios. This role offers a unique chance to develop skills in enterprise systems management while supporting the company's broader objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop code and configuration for systems like NetSuite, ServiceNow, JIRA, Slack
  • Gather and refine requirements from users of enterprise systems
  • Troubleshoot user issues and work with Enterprise Systems teams to resolve application bugs and problems
  • Articulate progress, issues, and updates to management, architects, project managers, and stakeholders.  Keep Jira project board and ServiceNow tickets up to date.

Requirements or things you will learn on the job:

  • CS, IS, BIS or Math major preferred
  • Project management and execution
  • Ability to configure and script in NetSuite, ServiceNow, and JIRA
  • Demonstrable knowledge of an interpreted programming language (e.g. JavaScript, Python, or equivalent) 
  • Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms 
  • Good problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills 
  • An interest and aptitude for delivering sophisticated and robust product, tool and test solutions 
  • Recently obtained or upper division student working towards a minimum Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/MIS or related field 

Education:  

  • College students from rising Sophomores to Seniors, along with Masters level students

Compensation varies based on your level of education from high school to Masters and the role applied for.

The reasonably estimated hourly rate for interns at SailPoint ranges from (min-mid-max, USD):

$15 - $28 - $40
