About Us:

We're on a mission to make it possible for every person, team, and company to be able to tailor their software to solve any problem and take on any challenge. Computers may be our most powerful tools, but most of us can't build or modify the software we use on them every day. At Notion, we want to change this with focus, design, and craft.

We've been working on this together since 2016, and have customers like Pixar, Mitsubishi, Figma, Plaid, Match Group, and thousands more on this journey with us. Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse and creative as the millions of people Notion reaches worldwide.

Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for three Anchor Days (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).

About The Role:

Notion is transitioning from "startup" to "scale-up." We are seeking an exceptional sales leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to help elevate our Enterprise segment to the next level. Given the strong subscription and license based revenue model, building out our sales program is a vital part of our long term growth strategy.

As our first Enterprise-focused leader in the Americas, you will shape our upmarket sales strategies, channel customer feedback into our product roadmap, and drive revenue growth. You will manage our team focusing on the largest, most strategic accounts to acquire new customers and deepen existing relationships.

What You'll Achieve:

  1. You will work directly with the AMER GM in creating a strategy to develop net new and expansion revenue in the Enterprise segment for Notion.
  2. You will recruit, develop and lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives through setting a clear vision, managing daily operations, and coaching to unlock performance.
  3. Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders to identify their business needs and establish clear, measurable outcomes by partnering with Notion.
  4. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Development to develop demand generation strategies, optimize inbound and outbound campaigns, and build a robust pipeline.
  5. Scale the foundations of sales at Notion by partnering with Sales Strategy & Operations and regional leaders to create reliable sales processes that drive sustainable growth.
  6. Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Renewal, and Professional Service teams to onboard customers and enhance the customer journey, driving long-term success.
  7. Drive a predictable sales model that enables accurate forecasting on a quarterly basis.
  8. Meaningfully shape our future product: As you engage with Enterprise customers, you'll gain insights to help us serve them better — and work with product to inform what we do next.
  9. Join a fantastic team at a magical time: We've hit profitability and over a hundred million users with a small team, which gives us a huge green field to work with. You'll join at the perfect time to shape how we grow from here.
  10. Elevate your skills as we tackle our most impactful challenges: We've achieved more than teams 10x our size in less time — and there's so much more to do and learn.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • You are inspired by our mission of helping you build beautiful tools for your life’s work
  • You have 8+ years experience as a direct sales leader/manager
  • You have proven experience partnering with large enterprise customers in the Americas
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets across regional sales teams
  • Skilled in managing and coaching through the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • You have strong recognized leadership skills with a focus on empowerment, positive-mindsets, collaboration and ability to inspire a team
  • You are comfortable with the ambiguity and pace of iteration of an early-stage startup
  • You have a growth mindset and thrive in the building stage of a nascent team
  • You view setbacks as learning opportunities, not failures
  • You have a high EQ and exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • You have an analytical mindset and enjoy problem solving as part of a regional leadership team
  • You have strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth
  • You have a good understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models

Nice to Haves:

  • You've been a first or early hire at a fast growing start up before
  • You’ve successfully moved a sales team upmarket
  • Experienced in hiring and training talent at scale
