Title and Summary

Director, New Business Sales (eCommerce), Mastercard Identity

Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.
This is a senior sales-focused, individual contributor position. Your ultimate goal is to grow Mastercard's Identity verification client portfolio and revenue by signing new customers and upgrading existing ones. You will be responsible for every aspect of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing the deal – this means you need to be comfortable at every level within an organization, whether you’re speaking with front-line staff or a C-level executive.

Our sales cycles can be long and you will need to be attentive and available to carry deals across the finish line. Not letting anything slip through the cracks is key.

A high level of social skills, software and technical competency will all be required to explain and promote our products as you'll be speaking to key stakeholders from Directors to Engineering and C-Level Executives.

Responsibilities
· Meet or exceed sales goals by selling Mastercard Identity Identity Verification products and services to new customers or increasing the spend of existing customers
· Identify and qualify high-value sales opportunities through SBLs, networking, tradeshows and lead follow-ups
· Conduct discovery and qualification meetings to prove the value of Mastercard Identity's products and services
· Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing – you will be the face of Mastercard Identity for your prospects
· Build, maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline
· Develop the sales strategy in your North America:
· Collaborate with the SBLs, CSMs, and the marketing team to identify and attend relevant trade shows for lead generation.
· Explore and identify new use-cases for business expansion.

Qualifications
· Enterprise software selling experience
· Extensive experience in all stages of the sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing deals
· A proven track record of closing sales and exceeding targets
Experience with Salesforce CRM
· Experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions is essential
· Experience selling into the ecommerce and financial institution verticals
· Experience selling highly technical products in highly technical markets
· Must be comfortable presenting to all levels of an organization, including C-suite executives.
· Outstanding work ethic, extremely goal-oriented, motivated by KPIs and sales targets.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Seattle, Washington: $124,000 - $186,000 USD

San Francisco, California: $130,000 - $194,000 USD
