We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing Analytics and Operations to lead our Marketing and GTM analytics strategy. This key role will blend operational expertise with analytical thinking to drive growth through data-driven decisions and process optimization. You will play a pivotal part in shaping our marketing approach, empowering the team with actionable insights to improve performance and enhance customer journeys.


In this role, you will develop and optimize a comprehensive Marketing data and reporting framework and work cross-functionally to improve the full-funnel GTM strategy. You will help streamline our marketing technology stack and processes to enhance our customer engagement and achieve our business objectives.

What your day could consist of:

  • Marketing Reporting Framework: Design and optimize a robust framework that delivers actionable insights into marketing performance and customer journeys, aligning with business goals and marketing objectives
  • Company-Wide Data and Reporting Strategy: Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Sales Ops, Finance, and Product leadership to develop and execute a unified data and reporting strategy that fuels business growth, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all reporting
  • Revenue Marketing Funnel Analysis: Analyze marketing campaigns across all channels to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, while advising on A/B testing best practices to enhance performance and revenue
  • Tech Stack Optimization: Oversee and optimize the marketing technology stack, including the integration of AI tools to improve efficiency, meet GTM needs, and achieve ROI and security objectives. Work closely with agency partners to ensure effective data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Planning and KPIs: Collaborate with the team in yearly, quarterly, and monthly planning and budget review. Define and track KPIs for marketing and work with the teams on deep analysis and messaging for business read-outs 
  • Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead a team of high-performing marketing analysts and operations professionals, fostering a collaborative and data-driven culture. Act as a trusted advisor to the Marketing team and key cross-functional stakeholders regarding revenue marketing performance and growth.

What is needed:

  • 12+ years in marketing analytics and operations/or related experience and 4+ years in people leadership, with a proven track record of leading data-driven initiatives in a marketing environment
  • B2B SaaS experience, MarTech or adjacent industry experience preferredExperience with SMB, product-led growth and/or self-serve sales motions preferred
  • Expertise in marketing data modeling, performance tracking, A/B testing, KPI development, and reporting/visualization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Expertise in analytics and data visualization tools (such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Power BI), CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and marketing automation platforms (ActiveCampaign, Marketo, HubSpot)
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL (ideally 2-3 years writing complex SQL queries,) and other data manipulation tools
  • Ability to drive a mentality of continuous optimization, growth, and performance throughout the team and cross-functionally 
  • Deep knowledge of global data privacy regulations, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and etc
  • Bias to action with an ability to operate with unknown factors
  • Builder and operator mentality 
  • Expert communications skills across all mediums, and with all levels of the organization 
  • Highly collaborative and able to work effectively across multiple departments
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing talent
  • Experience with AI driven marketing tools is highly desired.
