We're Looking For An: Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to build and enhance our financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership to inform and influence key business decisions and strategic direction in a dynamic and growing organization by offering critical financial insights and thoughtful recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, business analysis, and strategic planning.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the company's financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business performance, trends, and key drivers.
  • Provide executive leadership with timely and accurate performance reporting, variance analysis, and financial insights.
  • Collaborate with department heads to build a bottoms-up budgeting process and align financial planning with business objectives.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives and develop and update forecasts to enable to the business to
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, reporting, and analytics.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and develop actionable recommendations to enhance revenue growth, profitability and efficiency.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management, board meetings, and investor communications.
  • Lead and mentor team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics required
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A; 3+ years of Director experience (required)
  • MBA or CFA preferred
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing teams and working cross-functionally.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Adaptive Insights).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive strategic financial decisions.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific financial trends and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

The base salary range is $153,000-$205,000 plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
