The Opportunity:

The Director of Automation and Optimization will be responsible for the overall automation program at Ensemble Health Partners. Drive standardization within project development, automated operational workflows and program management. Responsible for management of Business Analysts. Participates the execution of automation strategic roadmap. Collaborates with Automation developers on automation architecture and technology design. Oversees and develops automation business cases outlines inputs, outputs, business variables and measures of success with focus on Revenue Cycle and Financial performance.

Job Competencies:

  • Management of automation team and oversight of automation program
  • Oversees and contributes to the creation of automation design documents to support business decision-making, automation development and performance improvement
  • Key member to the Technical Governance process for strategic project approval
  • Creates automation business cases defining BOT ROI and manages operational KPIs to track performance
  • Manages automation requests via the intake to ensure business vetting
  • Provides timelines of automation development, business validation and escalates risks and issues to leadership
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing data in an accurate and timely manner
  • Deep-level knowledge of RPA capabilities
  • Contributes to systems optimization for client and proprietary software
  • Work requires the ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of patients and the confidentiality of hospital and departmental documents.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience leading an RPA team of Analysts
  • Expertise in RPA platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, PowerAutomate
  • Strong understanding of business processes and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Project management skills to manage complex RPA projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; strength in communication and presentation to executive leadership
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of RPA professionals; enable Ensembles culture of people first, last, and always
  • Innovative and strategic thinking to continue cycle of growth 
  • Experience in healthcare or revenue cycle is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related
