We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Anaplan to join our FP&A team. This role blends expertise in Anaplan and a strong ability to collaborate with key partners in FP&A as well as business leaders within Qualys. You will own the development and maintenance of our Anaplan models, enhance our planning capabilities through effective and efficient model design, lead a team of highly qualified Anaplan model builders, and help execute on critical planning objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build relationships at senior levels of the organization to drive influence, consensus and to ensure optimal adoption of Anaplan
  • Identify and troubleshoot model issues, providing technical support and recommending solutions for improvement
  • Clearly define, set project objectives, critical metrics, scope and cascade strategy for the Anaplan platform development
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured situations
  • Promote Anaplan's standard methodologies, stay informed of new features and releases and assess feasibility before incorporating
  • Contribute technical knowledge in areas of specialism
  • Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail
  • Partner with business leaders and the business applications team to implement, optimize, and maintain business systems and augment with a separate data warehouse as needed
  • Create, maintain, monitor, and analyze all master data in ERP & CRM and integrated solutions
  • Document processes and assist different functions with process optimization
  • Build and support complex planning and forecasting models using the Anaplan platform and build Anaplan Visualizations
  • Provide creative and logical approaches to solve data, business, and process inefficiencies
  • Perform data validation across multiple systems
  • Draft and maintain policies, procedures, and other documentation to ensure uniform, accurate, and consistent data are present and well understood by all users of the system
  • Provide testing support for upgrades and releases, including integration testing from various sources to target systems
  • Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagement
  • Understand the end-to-end structure of financial planning and analysis including budgeting, and forecasting both headcount and vendor spend
  • Set up and automate reporting and charting to analyze trends and patterns
  • Build and execute a vision of integrated planning
  • Perform other ad hoc responsibilities as necessary

  • A superior problem solver, possessing the initiative to look into the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers
  • Excellent multi-tasker who has strong technical, time, and project management skills
  • Strong communicator, both written & verbal; reliable and responsive to email and phone communications
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgment with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Accounting/Finance/Business or related field
  • Certified Anaplanner required (Master Anaplanner preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands on experience optimizing business processes and analytics and building or maintaining master data management in an ERP or CRM system
  • Several years of experience leading a team of in house Anaplan model builders and designers
  • Experience querying data from a native source (ERP, CRM or database). Understanding of backend data and database structures
  • Experience partnering with FP&A to deliver insightful information
  • Endless curiosity and a need to dive deeper for understanding
  • Hands on experience with NetSuite and Workday
  • Deep experience modeling complex problems, both conceptually and tactically (spreadsheets, analysis tools, visualization)

Annual Salary Guidelines: $185,000 - $210,000
