Job Description
About The Team:
We seek an experienced and driven Digital Program Manager to join our Digital Innovation & AI team within Global Manufacturing & Supply / Global Quality Data Digital & Technology (GMS/GQ DD&T). Our team strives to lead digital innovation in the pharmaceutical industry by identifying capability gaps, designing solutions, accelerating experiments, conducting market research, and enhancing business operations. A good candidate will have a proven ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, manage through ambiguity, while keeping focus on key strategic opportunities.
What You'll Do:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to drive efficiencies in existing product lifecycle processes
  • Guide team on how to use scrum and agile practices to improve collaboration and team output
  • Manage interdependencies, facilitate escalations, measure and track initiatives
  • Translate data-driven insights into clear strategies and present analyses to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Step in as product owner and prioritize backlogs for initiatives, when needed
  • Stay up to date with digital trends, formulate perspective, and share findings
  • Be a solid team player with no direct reports, and have a strong ability to influence others
  • Build and manage dashboards using different visualization tools, and teach others how to self-serve where possible
  • Foster relationships with industry partners who have innovative technological capabilities, and identify how to leverage these solutions within Takeda, specifically for the Global Manufacturing & Supply / Global Quality (GMS/GQ) business unit


Skills and Requirements:

  • 12+ years real-world experience in conducting analysis, managing portfolio of concurrent projects, and defining key business metrics
  • Ability to oversee multiple concurrent workstreams in a dynamic environment across a very matrixed organization spanning multiple geographies
  • Hands-on and influential leader who is meticulously detailed-oriented
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to tell a story in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences is required
  • Experience operating in a regulated environment, e.g. SOX, GxP
  • Firm grasp of industry, digital, and artificial intelligence trends and market conditions
  • Skilled in agile product development and use of Jira, Confluence, Miro
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform and data visualization tools
  • Experience in biopharmaceutical or manufacturing industry with understanding of applicable compliance, is a plus


Where You Will Be:

  • We have a hybrid working environment
  • Primary office location for this role will be Lexington / Cambridge MA
  • We are a global organization with many colleagues in the US Eastern and Central European time zones
  • Some travel internationally is possible (estimated 1 travel every 6 months for 1 week)

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$133,000.00 - $209,000.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
