The Job:

The Associate Brand Manager, NA Activation is responsible for supporting the development and execution of innovative and dynamic brand activation strategy across our iconic brand portfolio in North America. This person will manage day to day project activities as well as drive the strategic choices that will enable the STANLEY Black & Decker brand portfolio to achieve its short and long term goals. The Associate Brand Manager will further be responsible for owning a project portfolio and managing deliverables with the cross-functional team. You will also: 

    • Support coordination and strategic partnership with multi-functional marketing team in development and implementation of plans with excellence.

    • Help plan and execute brand equity campaigns and other upper funnel marketing initiatives. 

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the North America Commercial org and Global Brand to plan and execute brand activations including paid media campaigns, events, partnerships, and promotions, to drive consumer interaction and brand affinity in NA Region. 

    • Work closely with a variety of Corporate teams to ensure cohesive and integrated campaign execution across relevant corporate efforts, partnerships and communication channels. 

    • Works with Digital Marketing team alongside Group Brand Manager on objectives, KPI alignment and performance and helps makes recommendations to improve executions. 

    • Helps manage creative development process alongside the Brand Studio team: Starts new jobs, develops creative briefs, reviews creative provided by internal studio partners and provides feedback. 

    • Be a steward of the Brand portfolio across the organization - lead development and adherence to Brand Guidelines as well as manage brand creative assets (photography, creative, etc.) to provide to multi-functional partners. 

     

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
  • 3+ years in a marketing or brand role.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills that can manage internal/external partners with varying degrees of knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Strong business acumen, including financial/budget management skills.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
