Who You Are:

HighLevel is seeking a Deal Desk Manager to join our growing Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work at a fast-growing SaaS company and not only play a key role in supporting the GTM motion for our primary customer acquisition channel, but also connecting the dots back to our financial growth / profitability targets. You will own optimization of the deal process, including deal structuring, pricing, commissions and compliance with other internal policies. As the first dedicated person in this capacity, this role offers the chance to design the Deal Desk function and incorporate best practices as we scale. We are looking for someone who can serve as a trusted advisor to Sales & Rev Ops senior leadership, has extremely strong financial acumen and analytical skills with a track record of implementing new processes to unlock velocity in fast-paced environments. This role will report directly to the Head of Finance.

What Will You Do:

  • Pipeline Monitoring + Deal Execution
  • Partner directly with Sales + Rev Ops senior leadership to support recurring pipeline reviews, leveraging reviews to provide input into our financial targets
  • Work cross-functionally to structure agreements in a manner that creates financial upside for our Affiliates while also supporting standardized reporting of performance against deal targets
  • Formalize a deal review process to drive consistency in contract terms and more clearly articulate expected financial impact / adherence to company-level financial targets (e.g. target ROI or payback period)
  • Financial Planning + Analysis
  • Support our financial planning / forecasting processes by quantifying and incorporating changes in our Affiliate-based GTM strategy back to our financial targets
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and execute opportunities to improve our forecasting accuracy / efficiency through the use of new tools or process improvement
  • Support data-driven decision making both within the Finance organization and for other non-financial stakeholders through ad-hoc reporting / projects
  • Program Performance Management
  • Review affiliate-level reporting of performance against targets to inform payouts
  • Partner directly with Accounting team and Sales leadership to ensure correct accounting treatment of programs

Good to have:

  • Pricing & packaging analysis, including aligning discounting strategies with unit economics / company growth + profitability objectives

What You bring:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of prior experience, ideally in a Deal Desk, Sales, Revenue or Business Operations, or Strategic Finance role within a high-growth / high-velocity SaaS environment
  • Track record of developing and scaling deal desk processes from scratch, with excellent cross-functional partnership and communication skills to help drive deal execution and post-execution reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, familiarity with Tableau
  • Strong expertise of deal economics, SaaS and usage-based pricing models, revenue recognition principles and overall financial acumen to unlock data-drive decision making
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while also meeting team deadlines
  • “Get things done” mentality; ability to dissect ambiguous situations or data, propose solutions and drive them to completion in an efficient manner
  • Strong work ethic and with a willingness to challenge the status quo / find better or more efficient ways to deliver results
