Position Title: Creative Strategist Intern
Internship Term: Summer 2025
Compensation: College credit [MUST be enrolled in college course]
Desired Fields of Study: Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts
Hours Desired: 15-20/week
A day in the life:
- The Creative Strategist Intern will assist in ideation and strategy on accounts. You will learn to have an understanding of organic short form video creative best practices, how to assess performance goals and data, and help develop video content that impacts client's organic growth.
- Creative Strategy Interns will learn how to act fast to capitalize on good results, or on the flip side, know what to change if a creative doesn’t do well. This means understanding each client’s audience preferences, analyzing performance metrics like views, engagement and watch time, and being able to react accordingly . Creative Strategist Interns will ideate on new ideas for clients, write scripts, and assist in the execution and review of short form video creatives.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the organic creative strategist on their current workload (4-5 clients)
- Researches client brand, competitors, and industry trends
- Ideates, scripts and films short form video content when necessary
- Supports the casting of content creators and helps provide direction to ensure the content produced meets the client’s standards
- Reviews video assets and provides clear and actionable feedback to editors
- Attends productive internal creative team syncs and brainstorms
Role Requirements:
- Current college student enrolled in an internship course for college credit in Communications, Marketing, or Fine Arts.
- Availability for 15-20 hours per week.
- Strong video content creation skills with the ability to develop strategic, high-performing organic content.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or CapCut is preferred.
- Proactive and adaptable, able to capitalize on good results and make changes when needed.
- Ability to research client brand, competitors, and industry trends.
- Willingness to attend internal creative team syncs and brainstorms.
