Roblox is looking for an experienced Creative Director to shape industry-leading creative for our immersive gaming and creation platform. This hands-on role will deliver content-forward creative at scale while setting the standard across traditional, digital and on platform creative assets that resonate with our key audiences. As a Creative Director you will work with the Creative Studio team and our marketing partners to deliver engaging ideas across multiple touchpoints. You'll bring strategic concepts to every project, help define scope, develop timelines, facilitate reviews and communication, and ensure projects are delivered to specifications. You’ll inspire and motivate those around you, prioritize work from multiple stakeholders, and resolve creative blocks for the team

You Will:

  • Direct, lead, and review creative across web, print, and digital content
  • You will lead projects through the entire production lifecycle: planning, creative, production, and delivery
  • Ensure all deliverables are meeting partner expectations, including adherence to established timelines and budgets
  • Facilitate project-related team meetings (i.e., kick-offs, status, internal/client reviews), and communicate action steps to the broader team
  • You will report directly to the Global Head of Creative.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in the creative field with in-house creative studios and agencies, or a production company
  • Hands-on experience in the creative concepting process, art direction, design, and brand development
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, 3D programs
  • Professional experience with industry-standard creative tools (Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Strong interpersonal skills. leadership qualities and an eye for creative craft

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$219,550$256,580 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
