Contracts & Strategic Sourcing Manager (Can Be Fully Remote)

The Contracts and Strategic Sourcing Manager is a hands-on, high visibility role that will require extensive experience across the entire spend management life cycle.  Reporting to the Head of Source to Pay, the ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier category strategies, contract reviews and administering the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool.  In this role, you will define best practices to optimize assigned roles.  This role’s expected working hours will be 9am-5pm Pacific time.

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Collaborate closely with key stakeholders as a “trusted advisor” across Legal, IT, Finance, HR, Procurement and other business units to ensure that the overall ecosystem is working towards a unified strategy

  • Provide oversight and strategic guidance for the company covering all supplier or partner contracts from a legal and business perspective

  • Contract negotiation skills - Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Manage the CLM tool for all procurement contracts and lead any process improvement initiatives around the contract management process.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures. Liaise with the internal legal team as needed for complex legal matters. 

  • Oversee/maintain highly effective internal controls and support internal and external financial reporting

  • RFx Skills - Lead RFx initiatives which includes requirements development with the stakeholders, preparation of supplier communications/meetings, scoring, summaries, and other documents, and supplier selection/award process

  • Sourcing strategies implementation - Create and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Analyze supplier spend data, identify gaps and opportunities, and establish long-term joint initiatives with the internal stakeholders 

  • Supplier management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services. Support internal stakeholders on supplier related issues

  • Performance metrics and reporting - Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies. Prepare and present metrics/reports to senior management on sourcing activities and outcomes

  • Cost and Value Optimization - Identify opportunities for cost savings and value optimization through strategic sourcing initiatives. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure the overall value (pricing, terms, and etc.)

  • Risk management - Collaborate with vendor security and legal/data ethics teams on any supplier or partner party suppliers risks issues. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including potential disruptions and compliance issues 

Job Qualifications: 

  • Foundational knowledge in contract management and 5+ years industry experience working as a contracts manager or strategic sourcing manager, supporting the procurement team with legal expertise.  

  • Qualified as an attorney or trained as a paralegal

  • Sourcing expertise: deft negotiator, understands data and spreadsheets, and ability to drive positive change and build strong stakeholder relationships as a “trusted adviser”

  • Good sense of humor and unflinching attention to detail and willingness to roll-up sleeves and do both tactical and high level strategic work

  • Close partnership with the Legal department

  • Strong written and verbal communication, cross-cultural collaboration and relationship management skills

  • Location: Preference for hybrid work (1-2 days a week in office) in downtown Little Rock, AR or Seattle, WA but can be fully remote

  • Ability to travel to LiveRamp’s US offices (up to 10%)

  • Strong technology background and able to navigate new systems and tools as both a user and administrator

  • Demonstrated experience collecting and analyzing data, applying principles of financial analysis, aptitude in decision making

  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior business leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • High customer centricity, business acumen and ambition to contribute towards enhancing the overall domain of program management for contingent workforce and supplier inclusion

  • Project management and process improvement background with exceptional analytical, organization, and problem solving skills; use data to drive recommendations

  • Experience with relevant tools such as IronClad, LinkSquares (or other comparable CLMs), Zip, Workday and other specific procurement software

The approximate annual base compensation range is $97,000 to $114,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
