What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience writing policies and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Technical Writing, or Communications
  • Demonstrated ability to execute routine work independently and to provide quality deliverables by established due dates
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with ability to draft policies, procedures and correspondence to produce high quality documentation
  • Ability to understand complex information and communicate it clearly and concisely

Impact You'll Make:

As part of the Enterprise Compliance Program Management Office, we are responsible for the implementation, management, and execution of global programs, policies and procedures that provide support to TransUnion’s compliance initiatives. Our team members maintain strong partnerships across the enterprise to extend the reach and impact of our programs. The Technical Writer will create clear, concise, and comprehensive policies and procedures. Under guidance of the Policy Governance Senior Manager in Compliance Program Management, the Technical Writer will improve and enhance Policy content, accuracy and accessibility across the enterprise.

  • Partner with subject matter experts and policy owners to develop, write, and edit policies and procedures to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and understand the needs and requirements for documentation.
  • Translate complex legal and regulatory information into easily understandable content for a variety of audiences.
  • Maintain documentation standards and ensure consistency in style, tone, and format.
  • Review and revise existing policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and reflect current practices.
  • Ensure all documentation is easily accessible and user-friendly for employees.
  • Assist in maintaining a repository of all policies and procedures and manage version control.
  • Conduct meetings with subject matter experts to gather detailed information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy governance requirements.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $78,750.00 - $131,250 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
