Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring for a IT Business Systems Analyst that will be responsible for managing IT systems, user access, security upkeep, and operational coordination with our Managed Service Provider (MSP). This role bridges the gap between IT operations and business needs, ensuring that systems are optimized, secure, and aligned with company objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT administration, security compliance, and business application support, with a strong ability to collaborate across teams and with external vendors.

The IT Business Systems Analyst essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Roles and responsibilities

IT Operations & Systems Management

  • Administer and manage enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Maintain user lifecycle and access management processes across IT systems.
  • Oversee security upkeep, including patching, vulnerability management, and device compliance for both Mac and Windows environments.
  • Support IT audits and compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Manage IT documentation, asset tracking, and system configurations.

Business Application Support

  • Provide internal support for business-critical applications.
  • Act as the escalation point for IT-related issues requiring business context before engaging the MSP.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving system-related incidents.
  • Work with stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and optimize IT solutions that support business processes.

Vendor & MSP Coordination

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for the MSP, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
  • Coordinate MSP service requests, escalations, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Engineering Operations on IT vendor management and procurement.

Solution Management & Process Improvement

  • Govern and maintain IT solutions that drive business functions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains.
  • Implement best practices in IT service management and change management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration.

General IT Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes, ensuring seamless user access transitions.
  • Maintain IT policies and enforce compliance across departments.
  • Collaborate with internal security teams to ensure IT best practices are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and modified at the manager’s discretion.

    Education, Work Experience, and Certifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in IT operations, business systems analysis, or a related field.
    • Experience in SaaS-based IT environments and enterprise software management.
    • Hands-on experience with identity and access management platforms (e.g., JumpCloud, Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace).
    • Experience supporting and administering Salesforce, Google Workspace, and/or Jira is a plus.
    • Exposure to security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
    • Strong experience with IT ticketing systems and process documentation.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Previous MSP coordination experience is a plus.
