Roblox is seeking a Compensation Business Analyst reporting to the Senior Director of Executive & Equity Compensation. Your role will be key in driving innovative compensation solutions within Executive & Equity compensation while ensuring Roblox's compensation is competitive, meaningful, and aligned with business priorities. If you are someone who enjoys working with data, building innovative data models and is interested in getting deep into the world of compensation, this job is for you.

You will:

  • Assist in executive compensation data analysis and modeling 
  • Assist in Compensation Committee meeting prep
  • Participate in annual benchmarking process for all executive roles 
  • Provide comprehensive data analysis, Google sheets modeling, and advanced analytical support to the executive compensation team, contributing to a variety of initiatives
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Recruiting teams, on executive & equity compensation matters 
  • Assist in streamlining and automating executive compensation processes and models 
  • Participate in the research for, and ongoing development and administration of executive & equity compensation programs
  • Work in a culture of continuous analytics and monitoring of current programs to find areas to improve and align with strategic priorities of the compensation team

You have:

  • BS/BA in Economics, Finance, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in technology industry, compensation, investing banking, consulting, finance or a similarly applicable field
  • Advanced proficiency in Google sheets/Excel, including experience building complex analyses and models
  • Advanced proficiency in relational databases, SQL and python
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp new concepts and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work, while focusing on accuracy 
  • Strong critical thinking skills

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$115,770$161,160 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
