We are currently hiring Community Outreach Representatives to join our office. Our client is in need to expand our telecommunications that provides local communities with an opportunity to stay connected to one another, their families, and job opportunities by using accessible and affordable communication tools. The main objective of the Community Outreach Representative is to qualify and enroll potential prospects and assist them through the sign-up process. 

The Community Outreach Representative will communicate and work with local community members directly, qualify them for the available products, and explain the value and impact these peace of mind products can have. In addition, they are responsible for generating interest and excitement and helping connect the customer. We are looking for a passionate, caring individual that can build quick, genuine relationships and has a strong desire to join a company where they can make a difference both in the office and in our local communities. Each Community Outreach Representative will receive competitive pay, daily training and mentorship from company leaders, and an excellent advancement opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Community Outreach Representative:

  • Engage prospective enrollees in the local community, educate them about the and assist them through the qualification and sign-up process
  • Qualify potential customers to determine their eligibility for specialized products 
  • Drive a high level of self-generated lead activity to create a referral pipeline 
  • Collaborate with fellow Community Outreach Representatives and the customer service team to learn best practices and develop streamlined outreach and marketing methods 
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire sign-up process, as well as continuing to offer support even after enrolled in the program
  • Actively contribute to a positive, engaging work environment by collaborating and maintaining professional, friendly relationships across all teams and departments

 

Qualifications for Community Outreach Representative position:

  • Associates degree in business, communications, or marketing is highly preferred, but not necessary depending on prior experience
  • At least 1-2 years of customer service, sales, community involvement, or any other applicable experience
  • High level of emotional intelligence and superior communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and genuine demeanor with a proven track record of building effective relationships with community members, co-workers, and clients 
  • Entrepreneurial-minded with a high level of motivation and desire for growth
  • Highly attentive, excellent listener, and exceptional organizational and time management skills
