Raptive is seeking a Community Manager to be a key member of our new and fast-growing Community team. The Community Manager will play a key role in fostering meaningful relationships between our brand, creators, and their communities. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Understand the Community: Act as the internal advocate for each community's needs, developing a deep understanding of the community’s members, motivations, and behaviors through daily interaction, including posting, chatting, messaging, reacting, and direct messaging.
  • Be the Platform Expert: Serve as the go-to expert on the Raptive platform, answering community questions and acting as the direct connection between members and Raptive.
  • Activate and Engage Community Leaders: Drive meaningful engagement by activating Community Leaders and supporting their ongoing participation. Achieve 75% of community leaders are power users in their first 14 days.
  • Facilitate Programming: Develop and facilitate programming that promotes sustained member involvement, while maintaining direct engagement to build trust and relationships.
  • Track and Report Trends: Monitor and report on trends within the community to inform decision-making and engagement strategies. Take note and report on specific community trends, address anything negative with programming

Community Leader Program Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Community Leader Program, creating posts that drive activation and retention.
  • Track and analyze leader activation, engagement, and retention trends. Identify iterations opportunities for improving the program's long-term success.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for community leaders, answering questions and providing timely support.
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand their needs, gather feedback.

Community Engagement Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor and interact with members on the Raptive community platform, responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Be a visible, approachable, and trusted presence in the community. Use daily metrics to guide conversations, encouraging participation and driving desired behaviors.
  • Ensure the community remains respectful and on-topic by enforcing guidelines, moderating user-generated content, and addressing any issues promptly during the day shift or as needed.
  • Plan, draft and post engaging content, including product announcements, community updates, group chats, Q&As and curated UGC. Manage and track day-to-day content in a content calendar we can share with the creator.
  • Address complaints, negative feedback, feature questions and other concerns in an accurate, timely, professional, and empathetic manner to maintain trust and satisfaction.

The skills and experience you bring to the job:

  • 5+ years’ content strategy or community management experience for an agency, social platform, community platform or digital brand
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, content, journalism, marketing or related field
  • Direct experience working with creators or influencers
  • Strategic thinker, with experience of developing and implementing user engagement strategies
  • Excellent editorial skills with a deep understanding of content integrity and online performance
  • Native user of community and social media platforms
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Data driven, and comfortable analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement based on performance metrics

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$105,000. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.
