We are on a mission to upskill Data and AI professionals in our customer and partner organizations to use Databricks and accelerate their business impact and professional growth. 

We are hiring for a Databricks Community Engagement Programs Manager that can help us scale knowledge through the use of Databricks Community. This is truly a unique opportunity for you to leverage your expertise to shape Databricks Community to be an even more integral part to the Databricks users journey. 

You will help develop and execute our Community engagement strategy to ensure that it’s an inviting and vibrant space for our users to communicate, learn and progress with their use of Databricks. Working closely with internal teams, such as Developer Relations, Support, Product Management, Marketing, Field Engineering, Sales and the Learning Technology Team, you will establish effective collaborations and shared goals to support an aligned vision for our Community. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative entrepreneur with a passion for working across departments with global impact.

The impact you will have:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with and among Databricks Community members. Our Community members will feel valued, heard and connected. 
  • Create and execute recognition protocols that encourage and motivate community members to respond to published questions and posts 
  • Work with team members on ensuring alignment with our engaging content strategy.
  • Align Databricks Community’s goals with overall business growth strategy.  
  • Serve as the voice of the Community within Databricks. 
  • Understand Community dynamics and measure the impact of Community engagement on business outcomes and align with expectations. 
  • Work cross functionality to ensure efficient collaboration across Databricks.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience with Data Practitioner audience is required
  • 5+ years of experience building and scaling authentic, vibrant online communities, ideally in an enterprise technology organization
  • Experience integrating online community into overall GTM playbooks and activities 
  • Experience with creating processes and communication that enable internal teams and SMEs to encourage participation and grow dependencies in the online community 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to use data to make decisions 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience administering Khoros community platform is preferred
