About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Communications Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team. The role will focus on building and enhancing Wing’s narrative and reputation around our offering for restaurants and food services. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Corporate/Consumer Communications Manager to provide counsel on and execute  our comprehensive communications strategy encompassing corporate and consumer messaging, executive communications, and communicating with business partners. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives, manage executive presence, generate consumer engagement, and protect the company's reputation. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's internal and external image, ensuring consistent and effective communication across all stakeholders regarding some of our most exciting partnerships. 


What You’ll Do: 

Corporate & Consumer Communications:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive industry-vertical  communications strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Leverage a variety of external communication channels, including media relations, public relations, social media, and investor relations to effectively communicate the Wing narrative to consumers and Wing partners.
  • Craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage relationships with key partner communications teams to co-create impactful communications campaigns for Wing and for our partners.
  • Monitor media coverage and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Work closely across the Wing organization to find and share relevant messaging externally.
  • Assist in crisis communication planning and execution.

Executive Communications:

  • Partner with senior executives to develop and execute their communication strategies to advance our reputation with current and potential partners.
  • Draft and edit speeches, presentations, talking points, and other executive communication materials for leaders in our business development and partner organizations. 
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all executive communications.

What You’ll Need: 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, consumer communications, or a related role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the food retail industry 
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including partners and media.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to act as a spokesperson 
  • Experience in B2B communications and event management 
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace Suite or similar software.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Agency experience preferred 
  • Media training and coaching experience.
  • Knowledge of digital and social media strategies.
  • Bilingual written and verbal communication in Spanish

The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

Salary Range

$129,000$200,000 USD
