As a Business Development Manager on the Aire Serv team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Cultivate Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and multi-family housing property managers, connecting them with franchise business owners.

  • Drive Sales Growth: Maximize sales volume within existing national service provider and property management company accounts.

  • Enhance Franchise Performance: Facilitate the sharing of best practices among franchise locations to increase account work and overall sales performance.

  • Empower Sales Teams: Develop and deliver effective sales training programs for franchise owners, outside sales representatives, and project managers.

  • Foster Collaboration: Organize and lead peer groups for sales-focused activities, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Develop Strategic Plans: Create, propose, and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve brand and corporate revenue goals.

  • Ensure Client Satisfaction: Serve as a key liaison between customers, franchise locations, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and fulfillment of client requirements.

  • Expand Network: Actively network by organizing and attending industry events to generate a robust pipeline of prospective clients.

  • Elevate Brand Presence: Implement initiatives to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation within the industry.

  • Champion Organizational Values: Promote the organization's mission and values both internally and externally.

  • Provide Performance Reporting: Report directly to the company president, providing regular updates and progress reports on key account closures and sales performance.

  • Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on HVAC products, industry guidelines, and internal processes.

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience: HVAC Industry Experience (Critical): 3-5 years of progressive sales experience specifically within the HVAC industry is preferred.

  • Sales Experience: a strong track record of sales success is crucial.

  • Skills:

    • Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead and influence individuals at all levels, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Demonstrates empathy, persuasiveness, and conflict resolution skills.

    • Sales & Negotiation: Exceptional selling, negotiation, and customer service skills, with a proven track record of success.

    • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical, quantitative, planning, and organizational skills. Able to analyze data, develop strategic recommendations, and drive change.

    • Relationship Building: Ability to cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships within the commercial HVAC industry.

    • Project Management & Execution: Confident decision-making skills related to project scope, guidelines, execution, and completion.

    • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Highly developed critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Work Ethic & Teamwork: Demonstrates a perseverant work ethic, a positive team attitude, and a commitment to achieving goals.

    • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent) or a combination of education and equivalent is required.

  • Schedule / in-office requirements: Ability to work remotely or work a hybrid (3 days in office) in Waco, TX. Travel Requirements: 25%
