The Brand Designer will develop and maintain Luma's brand identity, collaborating across teams to create compelling visual communications through various design mediums.
Luma is looking to hire a multi-disciplinary Brand Designer to develop and maintain the brand identity and communicate the story of Luma to the world. Alongside members of the design, marketing, product and research teams, you will help shape and define Luma's brand across product surfaces, social media, merchandise, marketing website, launch campaigns as well as other new channels.
You will use a combination of graphic design, motion design, web design and video production/editing skills across traditional and generative AI tools to communicate in visually compelling and impactful ways.
Roles & Responsibility
- Contribute to brand development across product, marketing, enterprise, social, and internal channels.
- Design marketing sites, social media templates, merchandise or anything that effectively helps elevate our brand and visual communication.
- Evolve Luma's visual identity in collaboration with other members of the brand, marketing, and design teams
- Collaborate with product on high level art direction for product related communication: product launch, in-App art etc
- Contribute to art direction for our various facets of our company — research site, hiring, company, API etc
- Develop templates, educational, and onboarding materials to help people learn how to use Luma's products and inspire them with new ways of using it
- Partner with external motion designers, artists, photographers, developers, writers, strategists, marketers, and agency partners as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, motion design, web design and video production/editing skills
- You have experience working with visual design systems across many digital, physical and social brand touch points
- Experience with web design and editing tools like Framer
- You have experience working closely with and leading other specialists like motion designers, artists, photographers, developers, writers, strategists, marketers, and external agency partners
- Experience using generative AI tools for image, video and sound generation
