Our backend application platform team is hiring for a backend engineer experienced with building data integrations and connectors with various third party APIs. This engineer will be responsible for architecting data ingestion infrastructure and contributing to LlamaIndex's open source libraries.

LlamaIndex is backed by Greylock and has grow significantly in the last year from a combination of open source and private enterprise interest. Our teams and positions offer terrific growth and ownership opportunities as we expand our engineering team to power our next phase of growth!

Responsibilities:

• [Primary] Build out new features and scale our backend capabilities focused on third party data connection.

  • Backend stack: Python, Node.JS, K8s, Docker, Terraform, Cloud services, databases, etc.

• [Secondary] Work closely with prospects and customers to build production solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience with shipping completely new product features from scratch. Have gone from prototype to production serving end users in a short amount of time.

• Shipped applications at scale

• Familiar with various authentication frameworks

• 2+ Years of full-time experience
