Position Overview


SPMB is seeking a motivated Associate to drive candidate development efforts for VP and C-Level executive searches. This will collaborate closely with the Partner(s) and Analyst(s) to deliver outstanding search outcomes, with a focus on relationship management, research, and candidate engagement. The Associate will support the Enterprise Go-To-Market and Health Technology practices, recruiting for venture-backed and publicly traded clients. The ideal candidate is driven, resilient, and tactical, with a strong sense of urgency and a high clockspeed.


Key Responsibilities


Gather the necessary information to truly understand our client companies, their cultures, and position requirements. Pitch our clients as effectively, or more effectively, than them. Collaborate with the Partner and Analyst to execute differentiated search strategies. Develop search materials, including position descriptions, candidate assessments, and status reports. Manage and drive research efforts and strategy via an Analyst and your own efforts to ensure the identification of high quality candidates all the while serving as a mentor and coach to the Analyst. Manage relationships with passive and active candidates, ensuring a strong pipeline throughout the search process, from kickoff to accepted offer. Provide insights on industry trends and competitive landscapes. Present data-driven and well-informed candidate updates and search progress to clients. Ensure accurate data capture in SPMB’s database. Support business development and marketing efforts as needed.


Ideal Experience


2-4 years of experience in executive search or internal recruiting within the tech sector. Proven success in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Experience recruiting for GTM roles (sales, marketing, customer success, etc.).Deep market knowledge in areas such as enterprise SaaS, AI, security, developer tools, and health tech. A strong track record of representing notable technology brands and attracting strong candidates. Bachelor's degree required.
