About this role

BlackRock’s models platform is industry leading and key contributor to the future success of the US Wealth business.  We are seeking an experienced financial services marketer to help transform our messaging and client experience for our models business.  This role will work closely with our digital marketing partners, portfolio strategists, Sales and other teams to develop and execute a marketing plan to help drive business results.  Responsibilities are varied and include strategy and planning, content development and maintenance and campaign support. 

Examples of specific responsibilities:

  • Work very collaboratively with many stakeholders to develop and drive innovative plans to increase financial advisor awareness of, engagement with and loyalty to BlackRock’s models platform
  • Conduct on-going competitive analysis to ensure we are properly positioning the strength of our platform, products and advisor/client experience
  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning for BlackRock’s models platform and the products within
  • Create cohesive suite of marketing materials for key strategies with fresh narratives
  • Work with digital marketing to continue to evolve the digital experience
  • Refresh key models materials associated across the entire sales cycle from awareness/consideration through purchase and on-going communication
  • Develop firm-specific integrated marketing programs to drive business based on platform availability and business objectives

Qualities we look for:

  • 5+ years financial services (wealth or asset management) and/or marketing experience
  • Specific experience in models or separately managed accounts preferred
  • Keen understanding of investment products and portfolio construction principles
  • Superior writing and communication skills -- we want marketers who make the complex simple, who can relate concepts with visuals and a minimum of words
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • Pro-active, self-starter with ability to organize, prioritize and execute multiple projects across multiple stakeholders simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work well with/navigate all levels of the organization
  • Excitement for innovation and continuous learning
  • Series 7 and/or MBA preferred


 

For San Francisco, CA and New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$100,000.00 - USD$130,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.


 

For Princeton, NJ Only the salary range for this position is USD$90,000.00 - USD$120,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
