Databricks is looking for a motivated Associate, Strategy & Execution to join our Go-to-Market (GTM) Strat Ops team. Our team acts as the day-to-day Strategy and Operations partners supporting our Professional Services businesses. This role will be primarily responsible for building our strategy, driving a data-driven decision, and running the day-to-day operational cadence for our successful & fast-growing business.

You will use data and qualitative information to help Professional Services leadership manage the business. You will support essential aspects of our GTM design and annual planning process. You will help build our data and analytics foundation including executive reporting, health of business reviews, dashboards, and indicators. You will work cross-functionally with our Product, Finance, Data, Operations, and other GTM teams.

The impact you will have:

  • Establish the Professional Services strategy and build processes in place to ensure we have the right investments at the right time
  • Be a trusted partner to the Professional Services leadership team by defining, tracking, and implementing goals, programs, and strategies that scale
  • Maintain and develop our data and reporting foundation
  • Guide annual GTM planning process (FY and long-range modeling, Return on Investment analysis, HC planning, capacity setting)
  • Design and manage headcount forecasting process (FY, long-range, and quarterly modeling)
  • Partner with our IT and Data Science teams to develop and scale robust impact analytics
  • Lead executive analyses, strategies, and deliverables (e.g. QBR)
  • Provide visibility and performance tracking to the business (business reviews, productivity Indicators, dashboards)

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of strategy & operations experience (Investment banking, strategy consulting, business operations, SaaS experience)
  • Data expert: Querying and scoping (SQL), analysis (Excel), summarizing (pivot tables, charts, slides, written explanation), reporting (dashboards)
  • Proven ability to work in fast paced and complex environments and act as a trusted thought leader to senior executives
  • Ability and passion to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems
  • Propensity to summarize complex concepts and data and present clear information to executives, teams, and internal customers
  • Rigor and attention to detail to drive a business cadence and drive execution
  • Passion for working highly collaboratively across GTM functions
  • A fondness for customer service, patience and humility in a very faced paced growth business

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. $120,500$184,800 USD

Zone 2 Pay Range

$108,500$166,300 USD

Zone 3 Pay Range

$102,500$157,100 USD

Zone 4 Pay Range

$96,400$147,900 USD
