This is an exciting new opportunity to lead our workplace experience team as we evolve our teams and offices into a new way of working.  This position will manage a global workplace team who will embark on reimagining our experience programs to ensure we can keep a sense of community and belonging.

This role is required to be in the San Francisco office minimum two days a week (Wed and Thu), and additional days as needed.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead a distributed team of Workplace Experience members to develop and optimize office policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and scalability

  • Support team leads and office leads in their efforts to welcome new hires, encourage collaboration, team build, etc

  • Support engagement building initiatives that emerge from the data by bringing forward recommendations and solutions and collaborating with appropriate partners and stakeholders

  • Build and maintain key communication channels related to employee experience and affinity groups including slack channels, email distribution lists

  • Under the direction of the Workplace Experience Manager, develop and maintain documentation for all workplace processes

  • Partnering with Real Estate

    • Support office expansion projects, including overseeing renovations, office moves, or setting up new locations - always thinking of new ways to use our office footprint

    • Coordinate with landlords and property management for office expansions, maintenance, or compliance matters

  • Ensure all our physical office spaces and relationships with building management teams, vendors, and suppliers are well maintained

  • Ensure the overall management of the snack and office supply budget globally

  • Ensure global office safety teams are up to date - first aid, fire marshal etc. and file all relevant paperwork

  • Negotiate regional and global contracts and service agreements

  • Manage global workplace programs such as Swags, Do Good, Communities, etc.

  • Stay current on industry trends and standards, including workplace related laws and mandates

  • Perform other responsibilities as directed by the Workplace Experience Manager


Please apply if:

  • 4+ years of experience in workplace experience or workplace operations

  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage workplace project scopes and timelines

  • Experience in facility management

  • Experience in opening or expanding offices

  • Experience in rolling out global or regional workplace programs and services

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong communication (written, verbal, and listening) skills

  • Strong time management, setting priorities and meeting timelines

  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail

  • Able to maintain professionalism and discretion

  • Has a can do, roll up your sleeves attitude

  • Proficiency with Mac or Windows operating system, Slack, and Google Suite apps

  • Experience in real estate: location sourcing, lease negotiation, and budget management is ideal but not required

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $95,000 - 115,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
