About the Role: 

This role is responsible for optimizing and scaling Motive's Front Office and Back Office systems and workflows to support rapid international expansion. This involves finding solutions to current process inefficiencies and bottlenecks, specifically within the Salesforce ecosystem and other enterprise applications. Key areas of focus include improving the quote-to-cash process, ensuring seamless data flow between departments like Sales, Finance, and Customer Success, and maintaining system reliability to support Motive's growth.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Relentlessly improve the efficiency, scalability and reliability of our Front Office and Back Office systems and business workflows. 
  • Prior experience in partnering with Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Support, or Order Management and other stakeholders to understand their business needs, prioritize them against overall business goals.
  • Drive strategic initiatives for Front Office and Back Office systems and workflows on Salesforce, and other enterprise applications like Zuora and Netsuite.
  • Draft design documents, gather requirements, build test and deployment plans, manage communications, and own initiatives from inception through rollout.
  • Collaborate closely with Systems Administration, Development, Quality Assurance and Support teams to build, configure, test and release systems changes in a timely manner and with the highest quality. 

What We're Looking For:

  • Understanding of Front Office and Back Office business processes and systems related to CRM (Salesforce ecosystem). 
  • 3+ years of experience designing solutions and building requirements for CRM platforms that translate into low friction and high impact business processes.
  • Basic understanding of Accounting and Revenue principles
  • Experience working with mid-senior business stakeholders in technical/developer/business communities
  • Ability to translate business problems into users stories and technical requirements
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to set up and interpret logic, data tables, and rule relationships.
  • Ability to explain complex systems and technical topics clearly and concisely using written visual and oral communications.
