AI-powered autonomy relies on vision to interpret the world, detect patterns, and adapt to dynamic environments. Kodiak is looking for engineers at all levels to develop high-performance vision models that operate reliably in complex, real-world settings. If you’re passionate about building AI that sees and understands the world at scale, this role is for you.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop deep learning models for large-scale computer vision applications
  • Design scalable training pipelines for robust, real-time AI performance
  • Work with large-scale image and video datasets to drive AI improvement
  • Research self-supervised and representation learning techniques to enhance model adaptability
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate vision models into production

Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related field, or at least 2-3 years of industry experience
  • Experience developing high-performance deep learning models for vision
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Strong understanding of generalization techniques for vision AI
  • Passion for advancing AI-driven computer vision

The annual salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$250,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual salary ranges will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Please note that the compensation details listed above are base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
