Actian is seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to join our fast-paced team as Manager of Analyst Relations & Public Relations. In this multifaceted role, you will support the development and execution of Actian’s analyst relations (AR) program for Actian Data Platform while coordinating with public relations (PR) efforts, administrative tasks, and maintaining key relationships within the data management ecosystem.

 

The Position will report to Senior Director of Global Analyst Relations & Public Relations at Actian. This will be an individual contributor role.

Your Impact:

  • Drive Actian's AR strategy in collaboration with the Senior Director of Global Analyst Relations & Public Relations, ensuring consistent engagement with top-tier industry analysts.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key analysts, ensuring Actian’s vision and solutions are well-represented in research and reports.
  • Coordinate and manage analyst briefings, inquiries, and research submissions, ensuring timely and strategic responses.
  • Track and report on analyst feedback and insights to inform business strategies.
  • Work closely with the PR team to align AR and PR messaging, ensuring consistent external communications.
  • Support PR campaigns by coordinating content, press releases, and media interactions that amplify Actian’s market presence.
  • Manage scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow-ups for AR and PR activities.
  • Organize and maintain key AR and PR assets, including briefing documents, messaging frameworks, and reports.
  • Own coordination and share analyst knowledge with thought leadership, customer reference, and competitive intelligence owners.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and analyst coverage to identify opportunities for engagement and differentiation.
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external analyst and media contacts, ensuring seamless communication.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years in analyst relations in the enterprise software industry. Experience in the data management or analytics space is a plus.
  • Ability to balance strategic initiatives with administrative responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, ambiguous environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive self-starter with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing AR tools (e.g., ARchitect) and CRM
