The Role

Alpine is looking for a passionate Talent Programs Associate to support Alpine in achieving its strategic goals through contributing to the development and retention of the world's top operational talent and industry-defining CEO-in-Training (CIT) + Investor-in-Residence (IIR) talent programs (see here and here). Reporting to the CIT Talent Lead, Ellie Howe, the associate will play a pivotal role in highly targeted “just in time” recruitment to ensure Alpine + its portfolio companies attract A+ CIT + IIR talent. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of Alpine while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Key outcomes + responsibilities include:

  • : Manage and oversee the “just in time” recruitment process for CIT and IIR/Head of M&A programs. Collaborate with talent leads to design, implement, and scale a systematic recruitment process. Maintain an active pipeline of A+ CIT + IIR talent for year-round placement. Partner closely with portfolio company hiring managers to identify opportunities, develop scorecards, assess talent, and fulfill roles.
  • : Oversee the Talent Program P&L, ensuring accurate monthly review. Manage billing and expense tracking for CIT and IIR/Head of M&A placements. Leverage applications such as Word, DocuSign, and Excel to manage SOWs, track signatures, request payments, and monitor the talent programs P&L.
  • : Collaborate with Talent Program Leads (Ellie Howe and Matt Jackson) to drive consistent, high-quality candidate experiences and recruitment operations. Develop and maintain marketing material for all recruitment efforts and applicant review processes. Maintain strong organization of candidate materials across various platforms including Greenhouse, Clockwork, and Egnyte.
  • : Develop a deep understanding of Alpine's history, portfolio, and industry dynamics. Embody Alpine's values and culture, serving as a trusted representative of the firm. Attend major Alpine events and contribute positively to the organizational culture.

  • Proven track record (4-5+ years) of success in high paced, competitive environment with high expectations and strong ownership + accountability, including: history of efficiently managing dynamic processes to success; experience successfully creating and communicating results and data; experience creating and implementing successful practices/processes across team and a number of stakeholders; track record of driving A+ recruitment experiences
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills
  • Expert organizational skills and ability to handle high-volume tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools like LinkedIn, Clockwork, Greenhouse, DocuSign, etc. ideal
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $130,000-160,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
