About Rippl

Rippl is a regional grocer & convenience store data & audience platform built on top of our Bridg identity resolution. Rippl allows easier access for brands & agencies to reach customers doing their weekly grocery shopping at their favorite regional grocer. Up to 30% of a brand's sales are occurring at a regional grocer & convenience stores, but unfortunately most regionals lack the scale on their own to warrant the brand's marketing investment. With Rippl, we have created the "easy button" for brands & agencies to get access to regional grocery & convenience store customers in aggregate with more than 100M customer profiles to access. 

About the team 

The sales team is comprised of Bridg & Rippl sellers. The team assumes management of all aspects of the sales process including designing plans & sales collateral to meet revenue targets, developing & cultivating client relationships and gathering valuable client feedback to support product enhancements. The sales team plays a pivotal role in understanding the needs of the client & ensuring that clients achieve maximum value from their investment. This team is critical in communicating the Bridg & Rippl value proposition in market. 

About the Position
Bridg is seeking an Agency & Partnerships Sales Director to join our fast-growing agency sales organization and be a foundational contributor across two new agency & partnership strategies focused on Bridg (identity resolution) and Rippl (retail data). The ideal candidate will be a strategic, creative thinker who is self-motivated and goal-oriented. We are looking for a high-performing sales leader with strong agency relationships and a firm understanding of agency needs, problems and goals. Additionally this lead will work with our strategic tech partners to identify and maximize revenue opportunities. Tech partners may include The Trade Desk, Live Ramp, Snowflake & others.  The Agency & Partnerships Sales Director will create advocacy amongst Programmatic, Platform, Data, Commerce, Strategy and/or Media stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of our suite of commerce solutions. In this role, you will arm agencies with knowledge, tools and opportunities to sell through unique identity resolution capabilities, programmatic purchase-based audiences, direct sales measurement and unique business insights to their clients. You must be adept at identifying and pursuing agency opportunities, understand the digital advertising ecosystem, leveraging data driven insights, and developing curated solutions that address client objectives. You are passionate about selling innovative solutions that make a significant and measurable impact on your customer’s bottom line.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your experience in digital media sales to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

  • Develop an agency business plan including strategies and tactics to expand business and lock in MSAs/JBPs

  • Generate a robust pipeline with a focus on national programmatic and retail media opportunities (Rippl) 

  • Secure buy in of identity resolution tools across Big 5 and performance agencies (Bridg) 

  • Develop partnerships with existing tech partners to maximize revenue opportunities

  • Drive revenue growth via strategic alliances, education, client partnering and ideation 

  • Uncover business problems and solve through our ability to deliver on performance and ROI

  • Establish effective relationships and become a trusted advisor for stakeholders at all levels

  • Seek out thought leadership opportunities to further establish yourself and Rippl/Bridg as industry experts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, taking a solutions-oriented approach

  • Secure and disseminate agency market feedback to inform both GTM position and Product/Marketing/Leadership prioritization

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of meeting and exceeding digital advertising revenue targets

  • Experience buying and/or selling programmatic/commerce/retail media campaigns 

  • Breaking and growing new business at both the agency and HoldCo level

  • Strong network of agency buyers and influencers

  • Experience selling across key verticals (CPG, Retail, Restaurant, Gas, Grocery)

  • Comfortable with business and media performance metrics  

  • Ability to influence decisions across all agency stakeholders through excellent listening, verbal/written communication and presentation skills

Technical Environment

We primarily use macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). While our preferred platform is macOS, we support both macOS and Windows. Familiarity with or willingness to work within this environment is required.
