Job Description

  

Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Controller, the Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for a variety of clerical, accounting, and record keeping tasks in the Accounts Receivable function. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a strong process improvement focus and attention to detail.  This individual will also assist with sales tax submissions, cash management, cash forecast and day to day invoice processing and cash collection.

Successful applicants who have applied directly will be contracted through our selected employment agency. Expected pay rate: $30-35/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable includes invoicing and cash receipt application
  • Support Cash Collections calls with customers
  • Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and prepare supporting schedules/reports.
  • Cash Receivable forecast
  • Support SOX control compliance
  • Support Month-end close process
  • Sales tax filing multiple states

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle ERP system a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to details and good organization skills
