Accounting Manager:

Have good understanding of US GAAP compliance and other accounting regulations. Handle the complete accounting responsibilities for Qualys Inc, work with the International Accounting team, and perform & assist the monthly consolidation of the financial statements. 

Ability to identify problems, research, reconcile discrepancies, and perform root cause analysis.  

Partner with Technical Accounting team to review contracts to identify technical accounting matters and related accounting impacts.

Coordinating review and audit activities during quarterly and annual reviews to ensure complete, timely, and accurate response to information requests.

Proactively work on initiatives to implement operational accounting efficiencies through system & process improvements and control enhancements. Understand internal controls and SOX implication when implement changes.

Partner closely with the Finance team (including FP&A, Investor Relations, Tax & Treasury, FinOps) to ensure alignment of accounting with both finance and business objectives.

Other responsibilities assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Certified Public Accountant (CPA); preferred

Big 4 accounting experience preferred.

Should have a minimum of 6 -8 years of relevant experience.

Candidate should be self-motivated, balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment.

Ability to interact with and build productive working relationships across all organizational levels and departments across geographies.

Good communication and presentation skills

Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.

Proactive and the ability to work independently, escalating issues when appropriate.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions, etc.)

Knowledge of NetSuite, Concur, and Coupa system implementation & enhancement is a plus.

Annual Salary Guidelines: $135,000 - $155,000
